The first sight of home for whalers who had been long at sea, was the Nantucket Lantern, then a whale oil-burning light. This beacon with decorative vent stack and guards made this lantern unique to homes on Nantucket. The size (height) of the lantern should be 1/4 to 1/3 the height of the door. Back box dimensions, as well as height and width dimensions, can be changed. Please call for information.
