Nauset Lantern Shop founded over 60 years ago, has begun a new era as of March 2019 under the ownership of Christopher and Kelly Berardi. We continue to make and sell our handcrafted lanterns at our coppersmith shop on Cape Cod in Orleans, Massachusetts. We have a busy online store where many customers from all over the USA and Canada, conveniently purchase our products on line.

Since the beginning, our Cape Cod made lanterns have been engraved with a unique serial number for every owner. This custom started under the founder, Arie Oppelaar, and will continue under our stewardship.

Authenticity
While many coppersmith shops have chosen to farm out the production of their lanterns to back yard shops both on and offshore, we have chosen to keep this process in house on Cape Cod. We believe made on Cape Cod and made in the USA matter.
We are blessed to have three experienced employees who have been with us for decades and the former owner Mike Joly will stay on to help us continue the tradition.
